Nice Two Meat U

Nice Two Meat U marked the establishment of its first branch in Penang, heralding an exciting journey into the world of Korean barbecue. The project presented a unique set of challenges, primarily focused on the integration of the company's image and branding into the physical space. This endeavor, my first design and build F&B project after graduating from university, was a transformative experience.

The design phase extended over a six-month period, characterized by a dynamic process of adaptation. As the designer, coordinator, supervisor, and overseer of every detail, I played a pivotal role in translating the client's evolving vision into reality. This multifaceted responsibility included not only interior design but also the intricacies of kitchen layout, fit-out, and ID finishing, as well as the meticulous design of the external facade. Furthermore, comprehensive considerations were given to M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems, and kitchen essentials such as wet chemical and LPG gas were expertly addressed.

This project symbolizes the marriage of creative vision and practical execution, resulting in a captivating and functional space that embodies the essence of Korean barbecue culture. It was an invaluable learning experience, solidifying my journey into the world of interior architecture and design.
