Georgetown Pharmacy is a local treasure, renowned across Penang Island and the mainland. As a designer, it was a profound honor to collaborate with them on two units located in the heart of Mainland Penang.

These projects provided a unique opportunity to delve deep into the intricacies of the pharmaceutical industry. It wasn't just about aesthetics; it was about navigating the complex world of sales logistics, adhering to the stringent requirements imposed by pharmacy licensing, and meticulously crafting layouts that conformed to the rigorous standards of Malaysian pharmacy laws.

Working on these projects, I learned that accuracy, reliability, and meeting strict time constraints were paramount. The communities surrounding these pharmacies rely heavily on them for prescribed medications, often considering them the sole medical providers in the area. This realization underscored the gravity of our work; we were not merely designing spaces; we were shaping vital lifelines for these communities.

The handover period was an intense 2.5 weeks, a crucial juncture where our preparations off-site played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth progression of the renovation phase. Every detail was meticulously orchestrated to minimize disruption and uphold the unwavering commitment to the communities served by Georgetown Pharmacy.
